When I was in LA I stayed with my friends Ben and Sarah. Sarah is an actress and showed me a short film she had starred in, Thomas Barnes’ Whales. It shattered my heart into a million little pieces. Sarah’s performance was so raw and honest, so in-tune with the emotions of the character she was depicting. Sarah doesn’t only act but she photographs and paints. In Ben and Sarah’s living room there stood an easel with an empty canvas. It made me happy. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with!
